Rutherford Briant are recruiting for an IT Service Delivery Manager based in Chelmsford. Rutherford Briant are exclusively recruiting for an IT Service Delivery Manager based in Chelmsford for a very successful , Hi tech company. The role is responsible for overseeing the key functions within the IT department, to ensure delivery of a top-quality service to end users, whilst line managing the service desk team to achieve recognised high standards. Responsibilities include: Line management of the service desk team Providing monthly statistics and KPI reports of the service desks effectiveness Working with the Head of IT to develop the whole function Seeking opportunities to improve service performance and implementing change and enhancement Manage any escalated major incidents, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review. Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed. Manage the service delivery of business systems making sure they have been assigned an IT lead and administered accordingly. Ensure that training services are in place to educate staff on how to use technology and systems effectively. This is an urgent role with the company being set up and motivated to conduct video interviews ASAP, and if necessary in the current environment, to have someone start remotely. You will need to be a dynamic, established Service Delivery manager, keen to secure a role in a challenging, changing and rewarding working environment.
