Overview
A rapidly expanding Financial Services business based in the Bolton area has a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic Financial Accountant to join their team. Working in a varied role that will focus on improving controls and processes, you will play a key role in future growth of the company. As the position is newly created, you will be able to make the role your own and take part in multiple exciting projects as the business develops. You will work alongside a vastly experienced senior finance team and be given multiple opportunities to develop your career. The successful Financial Accountant will be required to: Drive financial control and process improvement within the business Conduct analysis to identify problem areas and recommend enhancements Participate in preparation of year end accounts and statutory accounts, VAT returns, FCA returns and compliance projects Assist with the creation of the monthly finance board pack Take ownership of cash flow forecasting Financial Accountant Profile: Existing experience within a Financial Accountant or similar position A strong analytical mind and the ability to drive change ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is essential Audit experience would be highly desirable On offer for the successful accountant is an excellent package including £35,000-£40,000 basic salary, Vitality Healthcare, Pension, free parking, annual awards evening, 25 days holiday entitlement, smart casual dress code, regular social events and study opportunities.
