Overview
Manufacturing - Bolton - Financial Controller with progression. The Company Overview: Based on the outskirts of Bolton this highly respected manufacturing business have shown continued growth in an ever changing climate. Having recently introduced new and exciting manufacturing processes onto the north site they have invested in a complete overhaul of machinery. With an enviable reputation for quality they are keen to secure further success. Reporting to the site manager they are seeking a talented Financial Controller who has the drive and ambition to one day take on a group role within this thriving business. Your New Role As Financial Controller: As Financial Controller you shall be number one in finance on site. With exposure throughout the organisation you shall seek to improve process and procedure and provide financial reporting in order to make critical business decisions. You shall complete and manage the forecasting process and ensure budgets and board pack detail are produced. Managing a small team of 2 transactional staff you shall oversee the processing of invoices and payroll whilst remaining the lead for production of Management Accounting and financial analysis. You shall also present financial results to the senior management team and remain hands-on. The Experience & Qualifications Required: You shall be a qualified accountant, (ACA ACCA or CIMA). If you are currently seeking a first move from practice and have exposure to businesses in the manufacturing sector please get in touch. There is the potential opportunity for a 1st time mover to grow into this role. There is also a role for an established controller who can hit the ground running. Exposure in this industry in some shape or form, either as a leader already or as a Client in practice, remains key.
