Overview
Chartered Accountants based near Victoria is looking for an accountant with practice experience to join the team. This role would suit an individual who is either Qualified or Part Qualified, with a good knowledge of payroll who wishes to develop within the company. You will be responsible for: Preparation of sole trader accounts, partnership accounts and rental accounts. Preparation of VAT returns Preparation and submission of company and personal and tax computations to HMRC. Calculation of income tax and capital gains tax liabilities, filing of Tax Returns with HMRC. Preparation of company accounts, corporation tax computation and form CT600 Company secretarial duties including arranging for new incorporations preparation of and filing annual Confirmation Statements, dealing with issues in respect of changes in directors and/or shareholders. Assist with payroll preparation and related queries Ad hoc liaisons with clients and HMRC. The successful candidate will have recent relevant accountancy experience gained within practice and experience of using VT, Sage or PTP personal tax software.
