Job Summary Reporting to the Finance Manager to help Partner the Merchandising Leadership team on the markdown strategy to support the delivery of business and financial goals Provide analytical support to the Merchandising and Finance teams to ensure a high standard of financial controls and visibility of key metrics, with the aim of making the best business decisions Work collaboratively across Finance both within Europe and Globally to share learnings, work consistently and come up with new initiatives Ensure high quality processes that can deliver accurate, timely and insightful information in key cost areas The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a large team. You will need to combine good process, technical & business partnering skills. Key Responsibilities Own the weekly markdown forecast, reporting on actuals with relevant insight and analysis to help inform decisions and message our financial position Hold regular reviews with the Commercial Planning team to share information, make decisions and deliver the plan Identification of Opportunities and Risks with sufficient notice to influence the outcome Delivery of core finance processes including month end, forecasts, budgets and long range planning Analytical support to projects and new initiatives Encourage knowledge sharing across the team & actively seek to support the development of others Liaise with other finance functions (BP&A to leverage their insight and expertise Be the key point of contact for Commercial Planning within Finance Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience Qualified accountant Advanced analytical and numerical skills Strong financial systems and Excel skills Experience of supporting a non finance team Ability to build and maintain relationships to deliver results Curious about the business and drivers of performance Can describe complex ideas simply and to non-finance teams Flexible attitude and forward thinking nature Enjoys working in a team br> Come and Discover Different at TJX.
