Overview
Are you ready to take a step up with more responsibility in the Month end process? We are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant looking to take the next step in to a Management Accountant position. You will be supporting a well established organisation based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for a part qualified CIMA/ACCA Management Accountant to join a supportive team with a great study package Duties will include: Production of monthly management accounts within agreed timeframes Produce management account including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries Loading of weekly banks and monthly reconciliations Month end revenue accruals Month end cost accruals and prepayments Daily banking and review of cash flow Monthly payroll journals Calculation, presentation and payment of VAT Management of capital expenditure Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis Ensure compliance with all financial regulations You will: Be experienced within a Management Accounts role Be part qualified CIMA/ACCA Sage software experience Have a good understanding of accounting processes Have knowledge of an accounts package Be an excellent communicator with a high attention to detail For more information, please contact Tom Flavell at Huntress does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
