Overview

Senior Contracts Manager - Arboriculture Our client is an established hard and soft landscaping consultancy based in East Sussex. They are currently looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join their hardworking team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar position as well as significant experience within the arboriculture sector. You will also have experience of dealing with large contracts as well as end to end project management experience. As a Senior Contracts Manager you will develop and maintain meaningful relationships to further develop the vegetation and tree works section of the business. You will also plan and create RAMS to ensure safety and completion of contracted jobs on time and within agreed budgets. The ideal Senior Contracts Manager will hold the following skills and experiences: Demonstrable experience within a similar position Significant experience within the arboriculture sector Possess relevant tree works qualifications such as CS30/31/38/39/40/47 etc. or equivalents Hold or be willing to work towards SMSTS qualification Experience of dealing with large contracts and high value clients End to end project management experience Programming experience Hold a full driving licence Your duties as a Senior Contracts Manager will include: Working with other senior contracts managers to ensure smooth efficient delivery of contracts within the veg and tree works department Overall responsibility for quoting, programming and ensuring all projects are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget Develop and maintain lucrative contracts within the land based sector Supporting Contract Managers within the department as required Managing contracts developed from these relationships from planning through to completion Being responsible for the overall budgets for these contracts Creating RAMS in line with specifications, ensuring detailed and clear instruction is provided and health and safety is paramount Liaising with colleagues to ensure resources are available, training is up to date and all plant/materials needed are resourced in good time Providing weekly feedback to the management and commercial meetings on developments and requirements Be a proactive member of the senior management in regard to process and procedure planning and implementation Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum Hours: Full Time, Permanent Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex Start Date: ASAP Key Words: Senior Contracts, Contracts Manager, SMSTS, RAMS, Arboriculture, CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, CS40, CS47, Management, Programming, Landscaping, Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings, St Leonards, Polegate, Brighton, East Sussex
