Overview
A specialist reinforced concrete contractor are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to complement their dedicated team in East Sussex. The company work across a range of sectors and live projects include schemes on major water processing plants as well as structures for residential schemes. Project values and scales vary greatly. The Role Working alongside the Project Manager the you will support the site managers and operations team to ensure a full commercial service is provided; from sub-contract procurement to sub-contract management and identifying risks and opportunities throughout the project life cycles. All contracts are administered under NEC terms and conditions with the latest awarded tender under NEC4. The position is based in Eastbourne with frequent site visits across the Sussex and Kent region. Experience Required Suitable Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management and will able to demonstrate no less than three years’ experience at Senior QS level. A thorough working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential.
