Overview
Immediately Available HR Advisor needed for a large pharmaceutical company based in Uxbridge. Your new company You will be working for a large pharmaceutical company based in Uxbridge. Your new role You will be working as a Temporary HR Advisor for an initial 12 month period. Your role will be to provide HR support to the UK/Ireland affiliate, European Capability Centre and international markets colleagues. This role can also be worked flexibly with 2 days from home. Some responsibilities will include: Manage the UK's sponsorship licence with the UK home office and partner with Global Mobility and our external immigration vendor to ensure the UK remains fully compliant and adheres to its 'A' rated sponsor licence obligations. This includes being the point of contact to prepare for and manage any home office audit. Design and execute new processes around the management of visas in the UK, how this is integrated across the UK HR team, People Services and external partners, particularly in light of increased volumes in the context of Brexit. Co-ordinate the management of the UK sickness absence policy, including management of the external vendor for occupational health referrals, supporting decision making and liaising with the income protection insurer to ensure timely referrals and strong case management. Partner with the UK HR team and People Services to update the UK HR Manual with any required policy update, whether globally driven or driven by changes in UK legislation. Support the consequent updates required to the Employee Information Portal and/or Manager Communication/Training. Drive the transition of the new hire process and on boarding checks (references / right to work etc.) to a new process in line with the HR Operating Model of employee and manager direct access. Work closely with the HR Business Partners in the UK in the planning and execution of HR support to the business. This may include activities associated with transformation projects, co-ordination of Graduate & Internships Schemes and Career Fairs, and logistics support for training events. Support the business with field incentive eligibility and reporting. Provide reports and metrics as required to support HR Business Partners. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role, you will have working knowledge in multiple areas of HR with a solid understanding on UK employment and immigration law. You will have experience with working with senior stakeholders and ideally within a matrixed environment., What you'll get in return In return, you will receive an hourly rate based on an annual salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on previous experience.
