The Company: Our client is a well-established real estate international company with operations in Spain Main duties: To provide Accountancy, Legal & Taxation services to UK and Spanish corporate clients The Role: - Responsible for compliance, tax and regulatory regimes in Spain and/or the UK - Produce Corporate accounts for filing - Deal with tax office, answering queries of English and Spanish based clients - Main point of contact for corporate accounts, auditors and legal advisors - Preparation of Spanish VAT returns, calculations of other tax returns - Raising sales & purchase orders - Balance sheet reconciliations - Organise and assist with year-end audits and processes - Occasional travel to Spain The Candidate: - Fluent in English & Spanish (both written and spoken) - Previous experience within Accounting or Finance - Knowledge of UK and Spanish taxation laws - Knowledge of Sage, MS Office and also tax compliant software ( e,g Taxcalc) - Accountancy qualification - Willing to travel to Spain as and when required Salary: Up to £40,000 Benefits French Selection UK - The leading recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian speaking professionals and executives throughout the United Kingdom.
