Automation Engineer - Mobile
Overview
Experian Consumer Services (ECS) are the team behind your "Data Self" . The ECS Technology team work as part of an Agile business that has been through a complete technical and organisational transformation. Now working as part of cross functional delivery teams that include Product Owners, Developers, Designers and Quality Assurance specialists amongst others, we are releasing new versions of our mobile app once a fortnight. We're looking for a Test Automation Engineer - Mobile . At ECS Technology we mean you'll be a driving force behind our automation strategy. We need more people who can help us test exciting journeys and features for our customers, whilst also helping us keep this as a great place to work. Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Some of our testers have Computer Science, Mathematics or other technical degrees. If you have this that's excellent, but don't worry if you don't. What we really value is that you have demonstrated an ability to test working mobile app products, you're passionate about testing and you have a good grasp of the technologies that you've used. You will need good knowledge of at least: · Testing native mobile apps · XCUITest and Espresso · Good software engineering principles · Development and CI/CD tools We use these following tools/technologies to build our products. These are not mandatory but we'd expect you to be knowledgeable about one or two of these: · Third-party libraries such as RXJava and AlamoFire · Git · REST APIs and JSON You'd be joining an Agile delivery team who use Scrum and would be part of an organisation that works using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You'll find it easiest to understand the way we work if you've worked using Agile delivery methods in the past, but it's not mandatory. Does this sound like you? Interested in finding out more?
