Infrastructure Services Supervisor Uxbridge The person we are looking for will be responsible for the end user support and local IS operations in our EMEA head office based out of Uxbridge. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in Desktop Support and Planning who wants to build their career in a world class business. We are looking for you to plan and coordinate all technical, budget, asset and staff resources for the Desktop area to ensure a flawless operation for assigned sites and services. This includes making sure the best price conditions for all the company equipment’s and services contracts, training local IT Specialists and managing system replacements. You will also administer EMEA IS including desktops, printers and phone systems. It’s a role that boats variety and as part of this you’ll have the opportunity to participate in European IS Projects - providing ongoing advice on current and projected plans, projects and personnel issues as appropriate. What are we looking for? You must have extensive experience in Desktop Operations and planning in an international environment as well as Windows and Client-/Server Systems and Apple Inc products, hardware and software. You will also possess an in-depth understanding of IS hardware including servers, workstations, printers and network equipment. Comfortable providing 1st and 2nd line system support, you will have good knowledge of standard Microsoft Applications/Workstation Operating Systems too. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of consistently delivering results against time-sensitive deadlines while managing conflicting demands too. You will also be adept at analysing problems and developing recommendations and solutions. Highly organised, you will be an effective team supervisor as well as good at project management.
