SALARY: £32,000 per annum paid 2 weekly, possible bonus available of up to £2000 based on meeting GP's. Overtime paid over 45 hours. DURATION: Permanent HOURS: 45 hours per week DAYS: 5 days from 7 mixed shifts HOLIDAYS: Statutory (28 days p/a) BEDROOMS: 30 COVERS: Lunch: 50-60; Dinner: 60-80; Breakfast: up to 68 if at full capacity; Functions: none FOOD TYPE: mix of traditional favourites and fine dining FULL-TIME CHEFS: 5 plus 4 KPs ACCOMMODATION: Nice flat, own room with shared Kitchen / Bathroom facility part of the package - short term JOB DESCRIPTION: I am recruiting a Head Chef for a 30 bedroom hotel situated 20 miles from Edinburgh. Looking for a Head Chef to join the team and take over the running of the kitchen. This will include health, safety and hygiene, stock control, ordering and menu planning. The hotel has a good reputation throughout the area and is looking for someone to maintain the quality standards they are known for. Situated only 20 miles from Edinburgh this would suit someone who lives in Edinburgh or the Borders area. Accommodation is available short term so ideally you would either commute or find your own accommodation in the area. The Person: The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a similar role and a keen interest in pursuing a culinary career. The ability to work in a fast paced and high pressured environment.
