Test Lead/Head of Test Services - initial 6 months (Inside IR35) - Edinburgh Harvey Nash's public sector client are currently looking for a Test Lead/Head of Test Services to join their team in Edinburgh and provide Test leadership and expertise to the Test Team and wider Project Teams. Responsibilities Act as a point of escalation for the test team and manage project risks with stakeholders Support the projects by making sure they have access to the relevant resources and test tools. Review test standards and procedure to optimise test delivery. Engage with external supplier(s) to ensure compliance with the Programme Test Strategy Be accountable for all Test Artefacts and activities across the Census Programme; System Test, SIT, UAT, NFT & ORT. Essential Criteria: Able to design and execute a wide range of testing techniques for functional testing and clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Lead investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing processes and create recommendations Able to design and execute for standard non-functional testing. Manage the internal Test Team, third party suppliers test team. This is an initial 6-month contract on offer with an option to extend.
