BPS World are currently working with a leading security monitoring business, providing dependable fire, intruder, water/flood detection and asset protection to high profile clients, commercial properties and businesses around the globe. Their flagship facility is based in Waterlooville - having recently invested over £1,000,000 in a new server room and monitoring equipment. They are seeking an IT Systems Analyst, where you will provide effective 1 st and 2 nd line Infrastructure, systems, reporting and applications support and assist in new projects to improve business delivery/efficiency requirements. Responsibilities; Provide 1st and 2nd line support in support of the business IT Infrastructure and applications. Provide SQL servers and applications support and development. Work as part of a technical team to ensure customer requirements are delivered in line with agreed service levels. Ensure all systems are backed up, patched and protected in line with Company policy. Answer incoming telephone calls to support colleagues and end users with technical support and systems guidance. If you are familiar with; Ability to diagnose IT related issues. Knowledge of key operational operating systems and platforms i.e. Microsoft Server 2012, Active directory, Microsoft Office 365 suite, VM Ware and Microsoft SQL. Must be able to follow processes and procedures. Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms in line with business needs.
