Pensions Specialist - Leading UK Charity - London This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pensions specialist to join a leading UK Charity. Reporting into the Reward and Pensions Manager you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective pensions service and act as the Scheme Secretary. Your key accountabilities will include:- Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and overseeing administrative frameworks to ensure proper pensions management process are in place. Planning and co-ordinating Trustee meetings. Leading the preparation of the annual return to the Pensions Regulator. Act as Secretary to the Trustees and as Secretary to the Investment Committee. Liaising with third parties including investment advisers and legal advisers. Acting as an interface with the Pension Trustees and the organisation. Liaising with HMRC and preparing annual tax return. Working with the Reward and Pensions Manager to keep abreast of regulatory and best practice developments within the pensions industry. You should be an experienced Pensions professional with a track of working with Pension Trustees. You must have a comprehensive understanding of the UK pension market including experience of managing in-house pensions schemes (defined benefit and defined contribution). Excellent communication skills are essential.
