Description Consulting Actuary (Corporate Solutions) We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Consulting Actuary to join our Retirement team, based in our London office. Reporting to the Head of Retirement, the Consulting Actuary will be responsible for leading actuarial strategy and solutions delivery across our Corporate clients solutions. We are looking for a fully qualified Actuary with extensive pensions funding and de-risking experience gained in a similar consulting environment. This an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our growing organisation and develop their career in a leadership role over the next few years. With strategic client manager responsibility, you will be capable of leading small clients / significant projects, providing advice and consulting services to both trustee and corporate clients. He / She must have strong management and collaborative skills and will be adept working with resources cross-office and cross-line of business. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for leading our corporate solutions delivery, including; + pension schemes funding and risk managements; + design and implementation of new pension schemes; + advising on pension scheme funding and valuations; + providing strategic advice on actuarial factors; + maximising the opportunities created by changes to legislation; and + designing and implementing pensions strategy, cost and risk management solutions. What we look for: + Qualified Actuary, with 8 to 12 year experience working in a pensions consulting environment primarily supporting Corporate clients; + Wide-ranging experience of advising corporate clients on pensions strategy and cost / risk management; + Strong understanding of pensions schemes, DB and DC; + Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach to work, with strong stakeholder and client management experience; + Leadership experience - the ability to lead projects and teams of individuals, to deliver success projects / client solutions.
