JOB TITLE: Learning Support Administrator LOCATION: Bury HOURS: 18.5 hours per week (flexibility on days) Role type: Temporary 3 months Purpose and Objectives of Role To provide administrative support in a way which supports the Curriculum area so that the college objectives can be realised. Further Education is continually developing and the rate of change is unlikely to slow down. You must therefore be flexible to take on changing responsibilities. ROLE REQUIREMENTS To provide high quality administrative support for the Curriculum area. Track applications from prospective students with additional learning support needs and prepare reports Collect, record and disseminate information from previous institutions and agencies regarding prospective students to support pre-entry processes Co-ordinate on programme additional learning support assessments ensuring relevant paperwork is in place for initial interview Report on the attendance, achievement and progress of High Needs and EHCP learners Ensure auditable evidence is in place to support costs for High Needs Learners. Liaise with multi agencies and parents/carers to arrange reviews for High Needs and EHCP learners ensuring relevant paperwork is in place. Attend meetings, produce minutes and circulate as required. Provide high quality administrative support to the EHCP process Assist with data input and the production of Additional Learning Support reports. QUALIFICATIONS Maths and English Grade A - C (or equivalent) or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy is essential Level 2 IT qualifications NVQ Business Admin or willingness to work towards this NECESSARY EXPERIENCE · A minimum of 12 months administrative experience is essential. · Working within an educational establishment is desirable. · Knowledge of ALS and EHCPs is desirable. · Experience of providing high quality internal and external customer service KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS - Must be highly organised and deadline driven - Excellent communication and IT skills - A methodical approach to tasks and strong attention to detail - Knowledge of ALS funding is desirable - Knowledge of the EHCP process is highly desirable Morgan Hunt is a multi award winning Employment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
