Technical Cloud Specialist Lead Permanent - Full time Location: Deeside Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Technical Cloud Specialist Lead to join an innovative UK based retailer located in Deeside. What you will be doing In this role, you will be working alongside the IT team to work on large scale Azure projects to ensure technical guidance is achieved and goals are consistently met. You will use your skills in Azure, Windows, Powershell, Docker and Kubernetes to design, build and maintain cloud-based solutions across the business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a team to drive technical direction and ensure all systems achieve business objectives. You will be working closely with the dev team to drive agile best practices and a DevOps culture. Key responsibilities Spearhead the development and implementation of cloud-based initiatives to ensure that systems are scalable, reliable, secure, supportable, and achieve business and IT performance and budgetary objectives. Drive the architecture/design and implementation to migrate applications to cloud-based PaaS, IaaS and SaaS products, including optimising technical reliability and improving application performance. Work with Development, Infrastructure, Architecture and 3rdparties to define suitable design patterns for new services to be deployed in Azure; including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS as options. Architecting complex IT systems, including operating systems, networks, firewalls, and load balancers Work closely with the dev team to drive agile best practices and a DevOps culture. Embracing the DevOps philosophy, whilst being mindful of the existing teams and structures that are being utilised. Implement and maintain software-defined network infrastructure in multi-region, multi-cloud environments, management of network services including but not limited to: VPN, firewall, WAF, IPS, proxy, load balancing, and DNS Ideal experience Managing, supporting and troubleshooting cloud environments Working with Azure Cloud Platform Previous experience working in an agile or development team Windows Infrastructure administration experience Microsoft AZ300, AZ301, AZ201 or equivalent in Public Cloud platforms Educated to degree level Package 1 Salary up to £60,000 per annum 2 Pension scheme 3 Discounted gym membership 4 Free parking on-site 5 Highly subsidized restaurant on-site (Michelin Star Chef) Submit your CV now to be considered for this fantastic permanent opportunity in Deeside.
