Overview
A leading Semiconductor-based technology company based in Central London are seeking a Head of IC Design - Analogue. This organisation is involved in developing and integrating semiconductor technology for the medical industry. They are looking for a Head of IC Design - Analogue to take responsibility for, and drive, their IC design activities. Including managing their 7 person IC team. This is a unique permanent position in one of the most vibrant, up-market, areas of Central London. Key skills and responsibilities for this Head of IC Design - Analogue job include: -Gathering of IC requirements from stakeholders in other teams within the company -Defining the architecture of the IC based on those requirements. Creation of overall IC top-level specifications. Overall responsibility/accountability for the top-level IC specification. -Breaking the IC architecture down into smaller sections/parts called "cells" or "circuit blocks". Calculation and drafting of the specifications of those cells. Overall responsibility/accountability for the cell specifications. -Allocation of cell designs to analogue IC designers to design. - Undertaking of more complex analog circuit designs. -Full-chip design and full-chip mixed-signal simulation; verification against original fullchip specifications -Overall technical management of the IC design process This is a rare opportunity to join a successful and ambitious, semiconductor based, technology company.
