Overview
Robert Half Financial Services are currently working with an established Wealth Management firm based at Monument, helping them source an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper for a 9 month assignment. The successful Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper should have: Experience working as part of an industry finance function- preferably within Financial Services Studying for AAT, ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous Confident self-starter with excellent attention to detail Excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping Some experience of assisting on month end reporting would be advantageous Experience working with SUN or similar accounting package Excel competence The company: This international Wealth Management company has a diverse range of clients, ranging from charities to corporate and institutional clients. Because of this, they are seeking a hardworking and reliable accounts assistant to join their team. The role: As the Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper, you shall be predominantly focusing on debtors and creditors while assisting with the monthly management packs, statutory audits and other ad-hoc tasks. As Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper, main responsibilities will include: Accounts Payable - processing invoices Credit card reconciliations Prepare expenses runs VAT compliance checks on invoices Staff expense claim processing, ensuring compliance with policy Producing periodic debtor/creditor reports and ad hoc reports for management Accruals and prepayments Bank reconciliations Assisting with the year end and interim audits Preparation of invoices and maintenance of invoice logs Assisting with improving MI/reports and other ad hoc projects Based at Mayfair, London.
