Brief We are currently looking to recruit a Structured Finance Lawyer with 1 – 3 years PQE to join our London Team. Background We advise a broad range of funders and borrowers on a wide variety of financing transactions. We act for all the UK clearing banks, a number of other European and investment banks, independent financiers and investment funds on all types of facilities from acquisition finance, leveraged finance and real estate finance to asset finance, securitisation and debt capital markets. We also act for many borrowers, from listed companies to small enterprises, on their financings. Our practice is broad and very varied. We are growing our Structured Finance team and are looking for someone to help develop this opportunity. We deliver a high quality legal service banking and finance team with access to a deep knowledge of current market practice. The Candidate Required The ideal candidate will have structured finance experience, particularly securitisation, receivables financing and debt capital markets. Some knowledge of more general banking work would also be beneficial. The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a securitisation practice of either a leading national, City or international firm. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach and excellent communication and organisational skills. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the head of structured finance practice, and other senior lawyers in that group, on both transactions and practice development.
