Overview
Accounts Assistant Your new company You will be working for a reputable well-established organisation who are growing from strength to strength. Their office is based on the outskirts of Selby within beautiful surroundings. Your new role You will be reporting to the Financial Controller, Responsible for the day-to-day accounting duties to support the Finance function, including sales reporting and financial reporting using excel. Having a good knowledge of excel is essential, further training will be provided but you will need to be confident when using Excel with the aptitude to learn quickly. Key duties Providing support to the entire Finance function Direct and Combined Sales Reporting and financial analysis Administration and development of group KPIs & Dashboards Assistance with the preparation of the Group Board Pack Supporting the Financial Planning & Budget process Allocating receipts in accordance with customer remittances Posting and allocation of payments Chasing debts by telephone Processing monthly statements Any other ad hoc duties to assist the Finance & Operations function This role will suit someone who is bright, keen and enthusiastic to progress their career within finance, this role would suit someone with an analytical mind and who has a high level of attention to detail and loves number crunching. The role will offer progression depending on the capabilities of the successful applicant and full study support.
