Overview
As a sales ledger clerk you will be joining a busy finance team where you will assist in proactively chasing payment from overdue accounts, Handling customer account and invoice queries ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner while offering a high level of customer of service to customers. Description The role of the Sales Ledger will include but not limited to: Contacting clients by phone chasing overdue payments Dealing with account and invoice queries in a timely manner Processing of customer debit and credit card payments Develop and maintain client relationships Cash positing and reconciliation duties Raising invoices and sending out to customer with the correct terms Overall ledger management Process customer debit notes to the system Profile The successful candidate will have the following : Previous sales ledger or credit control experience - Essential Hold excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Essential Experience of dealing and resolving of customer and queries - Essential Professional and proactive attitude - Essential Be a strong team player who can also work on own initiative - Essential High level of customer service- Essential Ability to build long lasting relationships - Essential A proven problem solver - Essential Job Offer On offer for the right candidate is a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum 22 days holiday Career progression discount scheme car parking pension
