eSift are recruiting for a highly experienced Fleet and Transport Manager for a leading healthcare distributor and wholesale of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products. Location: Chessington, Surrey Salary : £50K per annum excellent benefits This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and over see both site based operational performance and all fleet compliance within the organisation. Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, you which you will manage through your direct reports and team of support colleagues. You will be required to be a CPC qualified and already experienced Transport Operations Management professional when you will l provide exceptional expertise within a high volume fast paced logistics environment, consistently providing the timely and cost-effective distribution of goods from site to a varied customer base utilising an own account mixed fleet of vehicles. You will be fully responsible for operational performance of your department and safe and legal compliance of the fleet resources, to include: maintenance, inspections, defects, drivers operating hours, customer experience, budgetary performance (fixed & running) you will bring a confident leadership style able to enhance and develop all elements of existing processes. Our ideal candidate will have/be; Please note that applications will only be considered if you hold a CPC qualification. Previous experience/ managing managers and large teams at various locations Ensure high levels of customer service are provided and maintained at all times. Monitor & manage performance Confident and capable of working in a pressurised distribution environment IT Literate and with keen eye for detail and continuous improvement Essential that the candidate is a CPC holder Excellent management / people skills Strong People Leader Experienced in people management in a Trade Union environment Ability and experience of managing and developing culture Strong commercial acumen Must be customer centric Passionate about AH values and vision Experience of developing teams Sound Decision maker Effective communicator Strong planning and organisational skills to achieve business targets and deadlines Practice continuous improvement Ability and proven experience of building effective working relationships both internally and externally Experience in the Medical or healthcare sector wold be advantageous eSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
