Injection Moulding, Laminating, Resin Transfer Moulding, Wet Lay up, Composite, Mechanical Assembly, Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Location: Stevenage, Position: Permanent, Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 Overtime p.a depending on experience Injection Moulding Operative Wanted, Stevenage - Permanent EMBS are in partnership with a market-leading, precision engineering company that specialises in manufacturing medium to large sized, high value, detailed components for a number of industries including Aerospace. Our client is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Operative who will be performing Resin Transfer Moulding on various dry fibre woven material, working within their engineering department on a permanent basis. Candidates will be tasked with: - Laminating/Trimming and laying up of dry fibre woven materials - Handling multiple mould sealers & release system - Sewing cloth to tailor shapes to moulding - Using fibreglass and polyester resin systems for wet layup - Using air tools in trimming fibreglass and more exotic laminates - Mechanical assembly - Working from work instructions Successful applicants MUST: - Have experience in injection moulding - Wet lay up laminating experience would be desirable but not essential - Have experience working in a precision engineering, manufacturing environment - Mechanical assembly experience - Ability to accurately log data, input information and carefully follow instructions - Have a keen eye for detail - Ability to follow work instructions - Have an assertive, dynamic and positive attitude - Be enthusiastic and have a motivated approach to tasks Benefits: - Stability & Longevity - Permanent position - £25,000 - £27,000 p.a depending on experience - Lots of overtime available - Permanent days: Monday - Thursday 07:30 to 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 12:30 (37 hours per week) - 2 days every month candidates will be required to work 18 hours in 1 day but will be paid overtime and have the next day off fully paid - Additional permanent benefits including; Holiday pay, contributory pension scheme, modern working facility and much more.
