Overview
A global manufacturer & supplier of Industrial paints and coatings are currently looking for a Quality & Group Compliance Manager to manage the quality function across four sites in the UK. The role will be primarily based in Redditch but will also involve periodic travel to other sites to manage the group's Quality and Health and Safety Systems. Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Alcester, Bromsgrove, Worcester, and Kidderminster. Salary:£ 35,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. plus £5000 car allowance and benefits including free parking. The Role: As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for: Lead, manage and improve product quality internally & externally. Work closely alongside the General Manager in order to achieve objectives for the team and group and implement H&S procedures. Maintain and Improve the quality management systems for ISO9001 and ISO14001. Work towards implementing the H&S standard into the company procedures. Respond to customer queries relating to quality and lead the resolution to product quality concerns. Carry out calibrations, internal audits, QM reviews in line with safety, statutory and ISO standard requirement to ensure the successful completion of external audits. The Candidate: As the Quality Manager, you will have: Experience in Quality Management or Development Chemist working within in a paint / coatings manufacturing environment. A strong knowledge of different types of coating material and substrate surface preparation. Degree qualified or equivalent. Strong leadership qualities and ability to recognise areas for improvement. Excellent communication skills. Highly organised. Strong work ethic. Good interpersonal skills.
