Procurement Officer job| Based in Bradford| Public sector organisation Your new company A public sector organisation based in Bradford are recruiting for a procurement officer to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Your new role Reporting directly into the head of finance, you will be responsible for All procurement activities within the organisation Ensuring all compliance standard are met and delivering savings on purchased good and services Devise a pragmatic procurement strategy and contract management for services Being a professional lead on all procurement and contracted aspects of the organisations operation What you'll need to succeed you will ideally have a degree or professional qualification, relevant to the post. Be a member of or be willing to work towards membership of CIPS. You will ideally have 3 years experience within purchasing/procurement/ supply chain environment. Experience of managing and engaging with key and senior stakeholders. You will have experience of business negotiation and leading and managing a range of compliant procurement activities and drafting all associated tender and contract documentation to effectively manage commercial risks.
