Stock Planning Manager - Up to £40k - Milton Keynes The Role Do you have the vision and drive for a management role at an innovative and leading eCommerce packaging supplier? If so, we are seeking a Stock Planning Manager to ensure the best in class stock management. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Stock Planning Manager will implement plans that meet customer needs and business goals. Working alongside Buyers and Suppliers, the successful candidate should be poised to enhance Carlton Packaging’s continuous desire to achieve excellence at all levels. The key responsibilities of a Stock Planning Manager include, but are not limited to: Managing the team of Purchasing Category Managers to meet stock objectives in a cost-effective manner, including: setting and maintaining stock policies, meeting Stock Turn targets, minimising slow moving and obsolete stock, issuing daily product shortage reports and notifying on potential shortages. Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance, with a view to improving services levels to Carlton Packaging. Ensuring high-quality product maintenance, and that product demands are kept relevant. Running and issuing routine team KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis. The Company We are one of the UK’s and Europe’s leading eCommerce packaging suppliers. The Person The key skills and qualities of a Stock Planning Manager: The successful candidate must be educated to A-Level or equivalent, and in possession of CILT and/or CIPS qualifications. Experience of stock management and inventory organisation software is essential, alongside numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Management skills are also required. The personal qualities of the successful candidate include: vision, drive, leadership and motivational skills, task management, credibility, self-assurance and confidence.
