Job Title: Vehicle Builders / Coach Builders - Rolling Stock Location: Milton Keynes Duration: 6-month initial contract Interviews/Start date: Immediate interviews / starts available "A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Vehicle Builders / Coach Builders on a host of rolling stock refurbishment projects" Ganymede Solutions are working closely with a key rolling stock client who are working on the delivery of several critical rolling stock refresh and refurbishment projects. During the current uncertain climate, we are looking for several vehicle builders / coach builders as "key workers" for their current projects to ensure our country's transport is available to members of the public now and in the future. The Candidate: If you have strong experience as a high-performing vehicle builder / coach builder - this is a great contract opportunity to join one of these projects Our clients are seeking vehicle builders / coach builders for ongoing refurbishment work with the ideal experience being strong interior modification, repairs, building & removing skills, from a background of rolling stock refurbishment / overhaul (or similar vehicle projects). The Role: Working alongside the electricians who will be running cables and installing power, you will be tasked with removing interior components such as ceiling panels, luggage racks, seats, tables etc for the pipe fitters and electricians to come in and complete their work before the task of installing new / fresh components to replace those removed. You will be expected to read technical drawings and return all panels, which will involve trimming and adjusting to size, be it new or existing, to the vehicle in a condition that will be fit for customer use. Requirements: To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the quality of your previous vehicle building / coach building work and hold a Level 3 Engineering qualification. You must be able to pass a medical that includes sight / hearing and a drug & alcohol test. Rate of Pay and Working Hours: �18 per hour with overtime & weekend rates up to �20/�21 per hour. Monday - Friday 50 hours per week.
