Overview
Information Security Officer / Cyber Security Analyst - Great opportunity if you are looking for the next step. The Bank is undergoing a lot of change as they update their environment and move to Microsoft Cloud / Azure and as such have an opening for an Assistant Information Security Manager. As a result the Information Security Officer will be involved in lots of interesting Cyber Security projects. The Information Security Manager will have a mix of hands-on and Information Security skills. The Bank has around 200 employees in London, so you will get involved in a lot more aspects of Security than you may at present. The Information Security Officer / Assistant Information Security Officer will work with technical architects and PM's to provide advice on IT Security Architecture. As it is a relatively small Bank the Information Security Officer will have a broad range of Cyber Security experience. Information Security Analyst will a good understanding of the technology as well as the design side. The Information Security Officer will be a member of the Information Security team reviewing the performance of Security controls in operation to support the Information Security Management System. Some of the Information Security Managers responsibilities will include; Evaluating systems for vulnerabilities Detecting and responding to IT Security incidents Advising on preventative action Deputising as and when Design, implementation and maintenance of security intelligence technologies. Use monitoring techniques to improve security Act as a Security Technical Authority - defining security processes to ensure project deliverables Conduct security research Be a member of the Information Security forum. The right person will have good information security operations experience preferrably in banking.
