Payroll Consultant - Manchester - Top 10 accountancy firm - Up to £24000 Your new firm A top 10 globally renowned accountancy practice who have a professional team operating in multiple offices across the UK are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Consultant into their central Manchester office. This is a great job opportunity for you to further develop your career in payroll with a top 10 accountancy firm who offer accounting services to their excellent client base. Your new role In this payroll job you will be dealing with complex queries and processing all types of payroll in terms of headcount, frequencies and complexities for a range of clients. You will be in charge of carrying out a new payroll implementation to Star payroll, assisting the payroll supervisor on a daily basis, attending meetings with clients and third parties when required, training new staff members, team building and developing own team members and maintaining a good working relationship with staff and clients. You will handle your own portfolio of payroll clients and you will focus on fees and cross-selling opportunities. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role you will need to possess past experience working in a fast-paced payroll environment. As you will be carrying out a new payroll implementation and handling your own portfolio of clients experience with both would be desirable. You must need personal and people management abilities, be able to work alone and in a team, have a proven track record of working to multiple tight deadlines and have experience using either Sage payroll software or Star payroll software.
