Are you a skilled HR Advisor looking for a new opportunity, within an organisation who will support you with your career progression? Pepper UK is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a HR Advisor to reinforce an already strong HR team. We are looking for a motivated HR professional with experience in delivering excellence in HR administration and be the first line support to employees and managers both face to face and on the telephone. We would like to hear from candidates with the desire to deliver excellence in HR advisory services with great attention to detail and who are able to work effectively under pressure, communicate with clarity, and demonstrate great interpersonal skills. Your Key Responsibilities will include: First line support to employees and managers both face to face and on the telephone. Producing reports and statistics and support the Senior HR and L&D Manager with specific HR related projects. Case management of absence and long-term sickness cases and also oversee the maternity process. Ensure an effective service in Payroll and Administration: handle contracts, payroll and all Social Security aspects; manage entries/exits, absences (Holidays, Illness, etc.) and allowances. Working closely with the the Senior HR and L&D Manager and Senior Managers to establish an annual set of HR objectives, which are then planned and delivered to meet the customer expectations. Accountability for the delivery of HR activities relating to recruitment, training, employee relations, pensions, reward systems, performance management systems etc within their Business Area. Working with Managers to provide an effective and efficient service to the business and help design and communicate key employment policies. Providing best practice advice, supporting manager and employees in all HR issues/policies (e.g. employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management). Stay abreast of all employment laws & regulations in UK and monitor changes and update policies to meet statutory requirements. Deliver the recruitment and selection process to include, arranging interviews and assessment sessions and preparing rejection letters. Production of documentation for processing changes to personal and employment details. Prepare correspondence, minutes of disciplinary meetings and other documents relating to the HR processes as required. Maintain an effective HR filing system to include regular review and audit of personnel files to ensure records are complete and documents valid.
