Overview

Providing an efficient 'right first time' repairs and maintenance services to our properties is our key focus. We're currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to work as part of our Testing Team in the Hampshire/Berkshire area. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road we will provide you with a van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket. You'll also benefit from: £330 yearly Tool Allowance £450 yearly flexible benefit pot to use against benefits of your choice Uniform & PPE 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days) Chance to buy or sell holiday as part of our flexible benefits package A van and fuel card for business travel iPhone and iPad Generous pension and life cover You'll carry out routine testing of electrical services equipment and repairs in our residents homes as part of our Testing & Inspection Team and elsewhere in accordance to work schedules, Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE) wiring regulations and to Sovereign's established standard procedures. Experience within a similar role, within a Residential/Housing sector is ideal and should be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 (or equivalent), 17th/18th Edition (BS7671) and City & Guild 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect. You'll enjoy working alone or as part of a team and be confident in using IT technology such as iPads. This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call out and overtime at competitive rates to enhance your earnings Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years experience and have the ability to drive a company van. This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check and a basic disclosure.
