If you’ve answered yes, then we want to hear from you Hours: 08.00hrs -17:30 hours 17.30hrs - 02.00hrs Salary: £23,634- £35,373 per annum pro rata Location: New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton About the role: Vocare Central is recruiting for Registered Clinical Practitioners for their Urgent Care Centre Service situated at New Cross Hospital in our Triage Team. Duties within the role: Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner taking a history, carrying out physical examination, and use clinical knowledge and judgement to identify potential diagnosis. Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients. Ensure all treatment provided are based on evidence and best practice. Assist in clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate software. What we are looking for: Ideal candidates will be a Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic and should hold a clinical examination qualification as well as completion of minor illness and injury courses or equivalent. Candidates must also hold five years post registration experience with two years of experience working as a practitioner in a primary care environment. The successful candidate will require effective communication, clinical skills, problem solving skills and be self-motivated. Within this position you will be required to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and have a positive enthusiastic approach to working within the multi-disciplinary team of a busy Emergency department.
