You will be working shifts (including some weekends) and learning on the job. Orchard House has 6 residential care rooms as well as a busy day care service. The ideal candidate for the job will have excellent communication skills, be reliable and conscientious. You will help us to deliver all the care and support the individuals require. You will be fully supported through your apprenticeship and gain real experience and knowledge to equip you to do your work well. We provide a meal on duty, uniforms and the chance to enrol on our staff reward and recognition scheme because we promote our teams well being as well as the people we care for 12 month contract with opportunity for career progression on completion of award. 30 hours per week Rate of pay in line with apprenticeship rate and NMW. After a satisfactory probationary period (normally 12 weeks) your salary will be reviewed Any job offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references Learning Curve Group will be the training provider for this role. The successful applicant will be enrolled onto the Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification and will be visited in the workplace every 4-6 weeks.
