Overview

On behalf of a highly successful organisation, Zenon are looking to source a Senior Technical Services Engineer to be located in Cambridgeshire. The main responsibilities for a Senior Technical Services Engineer are to complete, supervise and ensure all scheduled and non- scheduled maintenance for aircraft under the CAMO control. Ensure that all maintenance is performed to the correct regulatory and company standards, perform work pack follow up and ensure log books (including hours and cycles) are accurately updated, whilst maintaining the utmost safety standards. Benefits Flexible hours Pension Private medical insurance: individual cover Holiday: 25 days plus bank holiday entitlement Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to aircraft crews and other CAMO peers; Perform and provide assistance with the interpretation and implementation of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives, SIL's etc.; Use of Computer Aided Maintenance Program (CAMP) and Computerised Maintenance Program (CMP) for defect reporting and work order generation for AOG, short and long term maintenance Planning requirements; Ensure all requested maintenance has been performed and is in compliance with regulatory and company policies; Administration of Technical Log Sector Record Page including quality control, data entry, and the review/correction of total aircraft hours and landings; Control and tracking of Hold Item List, MEL's and Cabin Defect Log entries; Perform and ensure 'live CRS/RTS' is performed accurately with respect to Workpack review, achieving and responsible for ensuring the maintenance tracking tool (CAMP, CMP) is up to date (Including data entry from non-routine task arising's for reliability reporting); Warranty program reporting; Entering and maintaining records of all aircraft airworthiness docs, including; Log Book Entries and work order files, in the airframe, engine/APU and AD/SB/Modification record log books; Entering and maintaining records of all aircraft airworthiness documents, including, work files, documents on board, airframe, engine, APU and AD/SB/Modification record log books; Aid with the audit processes Certificate of Airworthiness and Airworthiness Review Certificate preparation and presentation, including any as required international and domestic travel; Any other ad hoc projects and tasks as required by your Line Manager; Manage, support and provide guidance to Technical Service Engineers and CAMO peers, including training in company procedures and practices; Assist with the development and implementation of Technical Instructions and procedures; Assist with investigations into service level failures; Representing the CAMO Department and the Technical Services when both in and out of the office with integrity and professionalism; Provide 24/7 Aircraft On Ground (AOG) immediate technical support to all managed aircraft within the group, out of business hours on shift, if required Sound decision making after analysing problems, to balance Customer Focused solutions with Regulatory & Company Policies and without ever allowing safety to be compromised. Managing Work Authorisations & Purchase Orders for Spare Parts and in doing so, demonstrating a fundamental knowledge of your limitations & boundaries and not allowing any external pressure to influence a situation that has not been fully explored and assessed correctly. Person Specification Recognised Apprenticeship training scheme, Aeronautical Degree, EASA Part 66 License, or 5 years equivalent industry experience Minimum 5 years' experience within a Part M or Part 145 organisation Experience in Writing and Developing Aircraft Maintenance Programmes Part M familiarization training EWIS, FTS, SMS and HF Training Attention to detail and organisation skills Ability to be analytically correct and a problem solver Ability to meet deadlines In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
