Overview

Support Worker - Temporary - £9.20 - £9.50 Your new company You will working within one of the leading Family Assessment Centres in England and Wales. Based in Coventry, the centre provides support for vulnerable families, for both the child and the parent/s Your new role We are looking for individuals who are immediately available and are free to cover emergency shifts based in the afternoon at one service. You will need to free for work for the late shifts at this service (15:00 - 22:00) and be on call for emergency cover, as they often call in on the morning off. Your main role will be to assess parents with their children, and supervise contact with the families under going sessions with the families. These sessions can include topics such as budgeting, family support and community resources. You will be required to write accurate reports and record daily activities according to an individual care plan. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have previous experience of at least 2 years working within a similar setting supporting adults and children's. It will be a necessity to be free on the given hours above. If you have a NVQ level 3 in health and social care this is desirable, however applicants will still be considered if you do not possess one.
