DATA MODELLING BUSINESS ANALYST (CONTRACT) £400 - 500 PER DAY, 3 MONTHS CENTRAL LONDON A fast-growing data-focused consultancy is looking to add a Data Modelling Business Analyst to help deal with the demands of new and existing clients. This is the opportunity to act both strategically and technically, as well as the opportunity to deliver insights that drive change in major organisations. Growing rapidly and led by experts in the Data & Analytics field, this client is going from strength to strength and is looking for high calibre data professionals to join their dynamic, talented team. THE ROLE: As a Data Modelling Business Analyst you will be working alongside the Data Engineering team and the stakeholders to model data from the business into the new solutions that are being designed. You will be required to ensure that the business data is joining the solutions correctly and is available to meet the stakeholders needs. In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following: Validate consumer data models ensuring they are aligned to the business data strategy - identify where data exists, where data is duplicated and how it travels through different systems. Define data requirements around scalability, performance, segmentation, transformation, Importability, extraction, and accessibility Translate the data model requirements to a Data Engineering team, ensuring they are aware of how they need to go about implementing the model Code in SQL & Python contributing to the ETL development where necessary YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Data Modelling Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience: Clear demonstrable evidence of designing & validating sophisticated data models, both Logical Data Models (LDMs) and Physical Data Models (PDMs) Sound knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Architecture principles Strong experience working with consumer data and with marketing strategies Hands-on experience with SQL (and ideally with Python) Experience of working within AWS and/or Azure would be highly desirable. THE BENEFITS: The successful Data Modelling Business Analyst will receive between £450 and £550 per day over an initial 3-month period.
