Overview
ACTUARIAL ANALYST £35,000 to £50,000 Large Lloyds Broker based in the City is seeking to recruit a actuarial analyst to join a rapidly expanding team. The role will be to support the broking team in pricing reinsurance contracts and analysing business performance across a range of insurance classes. The role will report into the Actuarial & Analytics team within the Reinsurance division. Your responsibilities: Develop a good understanding of each client and its business model Pricing assessments of renewal books of business or new business, across a range of lines of business. Clearly and effectively communicating the impact of results to brokers, underwriters, clients and management Assist in building and maintaining bespoke internal models Analysing client business plans and profitability testing Gain in depth knowledge of the UK reinsurance market Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: 1-2 years of experience as actuarial analyst At least a 2.1 degree in a numerate subject Making good progress in the IFOA actuarial exams Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and having a proactive approach Have analytical and problem solving skills Proficient in Excel No prior experience of programme languages, specific software or reinsurance required.
