Overview
This niche commercial practice is recruiting a solicitor or legal executive into its established Employment Team in Exeter. You will be joining a small team of excellent lawyers who handle mainly respondent matters on behalf of employers. These clients include SMEs across the South West, South East and nationally. Although a smaller practice, this firm competes with the much larger local firms of which you will have heard. Operating under the radar, clients often prefer this tailored service and over time the firm has developed an excellent client base. You will ideally have at least 2-3 years' experience gained within employment law. Solicitors and legal executives with many more years' experience are also encouraged to apply. Due to the complexity and nature of the clients, it is likely you will have been working at a larger firm and will have received exceptional training. Joining this firm will be very different You will retain a high quality caseload all the while enjoying a more relaxed environment with much encouragement and trust from the partners who are on hand every step of the way. You will not have high billing targets, or be required to stay at work until midnight Work-life balance is encouraged here, as is agile working. It could be very different from what you are used to.
