The Band 6 Caseload Holder in Community nursing is a key member of the divisional senior nursing and leadership team, responsible for providing the very best care to patients within the community and home, wherever that may be. In addition you will lead a team of nurses and other key members of the care team contributing to the development and delivery of clinical nursing care, maintaining and improving professional standards and the development of nursing standards within your area of practice. As a Band 6 Caseload Holder you and your team will work in line with agreed objectives and quality standards which will then contribute to delivering high quality, safe and effective patient services within the District Nursing Service The Trust: Remember when we said we were a high performing Trust? What are we looking for from you: First and foremost we are looking for someone with some experience in a nursing leadership role, ideally with extensive community nursing experience. We also want to work with someone who always puts the patient at the heart of every decision and discussion. These roles require individuals with passion, commitment, excellent communication skills, vision and the desire to drive standards and lead on ensuring patient safety remains a top priority. You will be expected to apply and successfully complete the Specialist Community Practitioner Course, District Nursing. You will therefore need to have passed your level 2 English and Mathematics qualifications and also be able to demonstrate existing and appropriate academic qualifications to enable you to study at level 7. We will need to evidence/certificates if invited for interview. The post is Band 6 and this is reliant upon successful completion of the Specialist Practitioner program.
