Come and join us as a part time Support Worker (12 hours per week) and you'll soon see why What you will be doing Are you looking for 12 hours' work spread over the week in the evenings, doing a worthwhile job? Then this might be just the right role for you. You will be supporting Becky at home in her supported living accommodation to live a life that makes sense to her. Becky is 22 years old and visually impaired with a diagnosis of autism. Becky will really benefit being supported by the same person every day with cooking an evening meal, generally tidying up, going out for fun activities and trips, swimming and walking. You may also have your own interests and skills to add to the mix This really is a wonderful opportunity to help make a positive difference to someone's life. What we need from you Firstly, you don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no two days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring. As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support. You will need to be a driver for this post and willing to take up Business insurance for the purpose of going out and about with Becky.
