Overview

CHIEF EXECUTIVE for a charity working in the community of Fleetwood, Lancashire Fleetwood Trust was formed as a charity in 2018 with a board of local Trustees chaired by Lord Tom McNally. We are creating a vibrant and sustainable space for members of the community to connect with each other, an embracing environment for voluntary and charity groups and where residents can access valuable services. The Trust has been successful in raising over £800,000 from two Charities, that wish to remain anonymous, to purchase the freehold of the old Fleetwood Hospital building. An extensive programme of repair and refurbishment of the 45,000 sq foot building is now underway to enable it to be redeveloped for community use. In 2019, Fleetwood Trust was honoured to have been chosen as one of seven projects to celebrate the 70th birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales, his choice for the North West. The project is supported by The Prince’s Foundation. As this amazing project continues to gain momentum, we are now seeking our first Chief Executive. As an influential figure head, you will be able to raise the profile of the charity and its work in the community.
