Interstate Hotels & Resorts are now seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join the team at Hotel Indigo Glasgow, incorporating the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse. This exceptional boutique style hotel is nestled within the bustling financial district in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. Once used as Glasgow’s first ever power station, the stunning Victorian building is steeped in history; all of which we have woven into the Hotel Indigo ethos. We are proud to welcome guests to our neighbourhood As Restaurant & Bars Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, alongside any other F&B related activities throughout the Hotel. As a senior member of the management team, you will also be heavily involved in the strategic development of the business as a whole. Your role will also include: Achieving budgeted, forecasted and targeted sales and revenue for F&B Ensuring exceptional service is delivered to each guest in line with brand standards Establishing a relationship with external suppliers to continuously improve our Wine & Spirit offering Overall stock control of the restaurant & bar to ensure maximum yield in line with GP. Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure a well rounded and coordinated service is delivered on each shift. ‘Think We, Not Me’ to develop and grow you team, ensuring mentoring and coaching is provided where appropriate Liaising with HR, lead the recruitment of any new team members within your department Monitor guest feedback and deal with any queries in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in preparing monthly and quarterly departmental forecasts in line with the hotel budgeting process.
