Overview

An exciting but rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced an IT project Manager (home-based). The main purpose of this role is to provide Apprenticeship Programme Management Services to key named clients. Key Objectives 1. Liaise with Development team to ensure all new programmes are designed in line with projected start dates. 2. Act as day-to-day contact for named clients. 3. Work with named clients to ensure that all operational delivery services are in line with client requirements, contracts and commercials. 4. Task manage assigned assessor / coaches to ensure learners achieve in a timely manner. 5. Task manage aligned Programme Support person. Areas of Responsibility 1. Act as Programme Manager for named clients. 2. Design work based training programmes for named clients. 3. Deliver Training & Development planning workshops to named clients. 4. Liaise with the Centre Manager in developing strategies for assessment and internal quality audit. 5. Task manage a small team of work based assessors / coaches to ensure all work based learning assessment / coaching is delivered to apprentices in line with methodology and strategy. 7. Ensure learners progress against agreed programme outcomes. 8. Ensure that the Internal Quality Assurance of the assessment process in named clients is conducted in order to maintain positive EQA feedback. 9. Provide monthly management information both internally and externally to clients. 10. Ensure all performance requirements are delivered against Programme Manager role. 11. Support the Business Development function within named clients to enhance service offering. 12. Work proactively with clients. 13. Work on internal projects as required. Job Related Experience and Qualifications 1. Ideally occupationally competent in either IT, Digital or Telecommunications with plan for Continual Professional Development. 2. Ideally hold an assessor and IV qualification (A1 / A2 V1 or D32 / D333 / D34 or TAQA). 3. IT literate. 4. Excellent time management skills. 5. Proven communication skills. 6. Facilitation Skills.
