Role overview You make a difference, every day, that's why we need you in our team. What is the role? Brendoncare are recruiting for a number of Care Assistants (Days) to work at our home based near Marlbourgh, Wiltshire, which provides nursing care for 44 residents including a safe environment for 11 people living with dementia. Froxfield provides a lovely home where older people can be helped to live as independently as possible and where the emphasis is on quality and enjoyment of life. Who are you? We pride ourselves on providing the best possible care for our residents and our ability to make them feel like family within a loving home. We need you to be like minded in this approach, valuing the small things which are important to each of our residents. Although previous experience in this field is preferred it is not essential as full training is provided and your values are more important to us. As our Care Assistant you will be involved in; * Providing personal care to residents which is person- centred and respects individual choices; * Acting as a key worker to a number of residents; * Supporting the nursing team in writing and reviewing care plans; * Encouraging independence as much as possible. To be considered for the role of Care Assistant, we are looking for candidates who are; * Flexible in working hours, including working weekends * Able to demonstrate our four key values * Caring and compassionate in nature * Punctual and reliable In return we offer an hourly rate of 9.85 (10.35 with NVQ2), enhanced rates for working Bank Holidays, and 5.6 weeks holiday (including Bank Holidays). In addition we provide full training and continuing personal development including the opportunity to undertake an NVQ/QCF, a free uniform, free DBS check, paid breaks and free meals when on duty.
