What is the role? Brendoncare Froxfield provides nursing care for 44 residents including a safe environment for 11 people living with dementia. Froxfield provides a Marlborough care home where older people can be helped to live as independently as possible and where the emphasis is on quality and enjoyment of life. We are looking for Registered Nurses (Days) to work 36 hours per week on a roster basis including alternate weekends. In all Brendoncare services we value kindness, care, choice and community. Who are you? We are seeking experienced nurses who share our passion and can demonstrate professionalism and energy in the home. We are looking for candidates who: * Have a valid NMC PIN * Have previous experience of working with the elderly / dementia * Are conversant with the NMC Code * Are competent computer users * Are good communicators, written and verbally Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents * Update and contribute to care plans * Organise and supervise the work of the Care Team * Assist in the induction and orientation of new members of the Care Team * Acting as a mentor and undertake teaching of carers and students What can we offer? In return, we are offer a generous hourly rate of 20.00 and 5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays increasing to 6 weeks with 5 years service.
