My client is a wearables start-up with a difference Forget fitness trackers operating on generic data - their product is a highly bespoke health and lifestyle tracker that is completely tailored to your genetic make-up. They're currently looking for a Data Software Developer in West London who has the following background: Mandatory: A Computer Science degree 3 years of experience with R programming in a commercial environment A proven track record writing API code Data Mining experience Nice to have: Knowledge of cloud platforms (eg. AWS or Google Cloud) Python or NOTE: Bing This isn't a Data Scientist function - the focus is on database maintenance; data cleansing; data extraction; data mining; writing API code for cooperation with 3rd party data providers; and creating models in R. It's an 'out and out' Software Developer who will best fill this vacancy, or someone with experience as a Data Engineer. The application of these skills in industry is imperative, so unfortunately academic experience in these areas won't be considered as favourably. This Data Software Developer will be pivotal in the company's growth, as they aquire more partners, more customers, more dataand continue to positively impact the lifestyle choices people are making.
