Project Manager Based out the outskirts of Cambridge, one of our amazing Technology manufacturing clients are seeking a Project Manager to join their world-class engineering team. Operating in the field of specialist process machinery for nanotechnology, you will primarily be tasked with overseeing the projects complete life cycle from concept to completion. You will oversee and deliver new products to market, whilst supporting the development of existing products. This role will cover everything from design, development, manufacturing processes & is likely to have several direct reports longer term. Your Responsibilities · Project manage products from concept to completion, both new products and existing · Maintain project management principles, ensuring risks are mitigated · Ensure projects are monitored & delivered to set time, budget and in line with customer expectations · Carry out development engineering tasks, playing an active role in the design of novel technology ideas Ideal Candidate Profile We all know that businesses will not get everything they are asking (rarely anyway) however if you have experience or tick several of the below points, chances are they would be interested in meeting you · A Degree in a relevant engineering field to Electro-mechanical machinery · Electro-mechanical automated machinery manufacture · Demonstrated hands-on project management experience with high-value capex · 3D CAD Design experience, not full-fledged design but a strong understanding · Experience overseeing and delivering NPI & NPD · Solid Technical Project management skills (Prince 2/APM beneficial) · Experience working in a technology consulting or high-tech manufacturing environment · An understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing would be beneficial not essential · Experience managing project values between £250K - £1Million Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to create ideas and offer technical solutions in short timescales, as well as the ability to manage several projects at one time.
